What Ingredients are in Typical Gas Station Boner Pills?

While these gas station boner pills are marketed as “all natural,” the reality is that many of these – the ones that actually work, at least –have been shownto contain hidden ingredients such as sildenafil and tadalafil, which are the primary pharmacological ingredients in Viagra and Cialis, respectively.

According to studies and tests done by the FDA, some of these pills may even contain both sildenafil and tadalafil.

As for what else is contained within them…who knows?

We can only observe what is officially noted on the package ingredients list.

Many of these ingredients are definitely pro-erectile function and good for libido.

L-Arginine is an over the counter (OTC) vasodilator that can be used to treat ED or improve erections – some men will see improvements while others won’t notice a difference, as is the case with most OTC supplements and products generally.

That said, there is some pretty astounding and positive scientific data surrounding the use of L-Arginine and Pycnogenol as a daily supplementation to treat erectile dysfunction.

But it’s not just a matter of the ingredients — the amount matters, too.

But none of these ingredients produce Viagra-like erectile abilities – especially not at the listed dosages, and definitely not within an hour of taking them, as the product claims to do via the company’s instructions/claims on the package.

All that said, the hidden inclusion of ingredients like sildenafil and tadalafil – which are strictly prohibited in over the counter products – suggests that we probably have no idea what else is in these pills.

In fact, it is unknown if they even contain all of the listed ingredients.

Our point here isn’t to bash the makers of these pills but simply to state the facts and obvious implications of their chosen business practices.

FDA Warnings about Gas Station Boner Pills

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) puts out regular notices about these various pills multiple times a year, warning consumers that they contain pharmacological ingredients/hidden ingredients not approved for over the counter use.

One has to wonder if these announcements actually help sales since the FDA is essentially showing scientific proof that gas station boner pills contain legit sildenafil and tadalafil, which everyone knows are effective in producing erections.

In fact, you’ve got to give these rogue companies credit for unapologetic, un-PC, shameless & creative power-branding as they invoke imagery of predatory wild animals, the ancient Asian medicinal allure and make several allusions to all things “black” or “African” to trigger the subconscious images of sexual power and large erections in the minds of male consumers.

Are Gas Station Boner Pills Safe or Dangerous?

The FDA always refers to these pills as dangerous and unsafe due to hidden ingredients and unlabeled pharmacological ingredients.

There is no denying that the FDA has a point here.

While the reality is that most men taking gas station boner pills are not at risk from experiencing adverse effects from tadalafil or sildenafil, some of them may well be taking a risk.

Another safety issue with gas station boner pills is that t there is no way of knowing how much tadalafil or sildenafil is in one pill/serving.

And make no mistake – the dosage that a man takes of sildenafil or tadalafil is going to make a big difference when it comes to the kind of experience he will have.

In summary, BEN’s view on gas station boner pills is that, yes, many of them do indeed work – and that is precisely because those that work contain undisclosed and unknown amounts of tadalafil or sildenafil, or both.

Whether or not you should use them is another question entirely.

The problem here is three-fold.

For one, these facts are often unknown to the user, which in certain cases, could present a health issue if the user has certain preexisting conditions or is taking medication which interacts with tadalafil or sildenafil.

Secondly, there is no way to know HOW MUCH sildenafil or tadalafil is in a single serving of a gas station boner pill.

The problem here is that you should absolutely know the dosage you are taking – if the dose is too high, you’ll be far more likely to experience unpleasant side effects like excessive congestion or upset stomach.

Our unscientific and purely anecdotal and speculative opinion on this question is that gas station boner pills do not likely contain a dangerously high amount of sildenafil or tadalafil, but some may contain a higher dosage than is ideal for some men.
